3.5 hours after departure and a short refreshment stop, the tour will arrive into the village of Bushmills at approximately 11:00.

Toners Pub. DublinThe town is located in a part of Northern Ireland which draws its heritage primarily from the Ulster- Scots or Ulster Unionist tradition. The Union flags and Cenotaph Memorial commemorating the War Dead of the Great War and Second World War add to the distinctly British vibe.

Bushmills Distillery itself is one of the world’s greats. A license to distill in the area was granted to Sir Thomas Phillips by King James I in 1608. Over 400 years later, this is the oldest licensed distillery in the world.

Look forward to a guided tour of the working core of the facility and complete your visit in the 1608 bar to taste for yourself the culmination of more than 400 years of expertise and innovation.

Afterwards shop for unique gifts including the 10, 16 and 21 year old single malts and the vintage Causeway Collection.

Considered one of the ‘Natural Wonders of the World’, Giant’s Causeway was formed by more than 40,000 hexagonal basalt columns that were created by volcanic activity 60 million years ago.

Some locals would have you believe that the Causeway is reputed to be the walkway created by Fionn MacCumhaill, the legendary Irishman who fought Scottish giant Benandonner to win the love of the most beautiful girl in the highlands.
