LUXURY SMALL GROUP TOUR

This Luxury Small Group Tour is certainly one of the most comprehensive day trips available in Ireland – You get to experience rugged Connemara, the wild Aran Islands, the spectacular Cliffs of Moher and the mysterious Burren region – All in just one day!

Your guide takes you through a series of one-way trips on multiple ferries. This allows us to circle all of Galway Bay. An intimate experience with an expert local guide!

On this amazing day trip, you will get to taste the best of the west of Ireland in just a few hours. Sample south Connemara, explore Inis Oirr (the smallest of the 3 Aran Islands), and take a cruise under the Cliffs of Moher. Coming back onto the mainland, we take in part of the finest coastal drive in Ireland, as we make our way along the Wild Atlantic Way through County Clare back to Galway city.

What makes this day trip truly unique is that it is a looped route, so you are experiencing a completely different region of the West of Ireland in every hour that passes. You won’t see the same thing twice!

ALONG THE ROUTE;
Salthill, Connemara, Rossaveal, Inis Oirr, Cliffs of Moher Cruise, Doolin, Ballyvaughan, Wild Atlantic Way, Coastal Road, Blackhead Lighthouse, Dunguaire Castle.

FEATURED LANDMARKS;

ConnemaraSOUTH CONNEMARA

Leaving Galway City, we will take the scenic coastal route along South Connemara to Rossaveal Harbour. This region is steeped in history and culture, and one of the few areas in Ireland where the Irish Language is still used as a primary language.

INIS OíRR
Upon arriving on Inis Oírr, you’ll be greeted by golden sandy beaches, turquoise water and maybe even the island’s resident dolphin, Dusty! This tranquil collection of fishing villages is also home to a burial mound dating back to 1500 BC, a Medieval Church ruin buried half in the sand, and a 3-story tower built within a Stone Age fort. Among the shore, you’ll encounter a shipwreck from 1960, breathtaking views of Connemara and the Burren, and one of Ireland’s most beautiful beaches. Whichever path you take on the island, you’ll be sure to stumble upon history, traditions and a good cup of tea. Length: approximately 2 hours
